Taverna Catering’s Events - Terms and Conditions:
Deposit and Payment:
1.1. In order to secure a booking for our event catering services, a non-refundable
deposit of 10% of the Total Quote is required when booking the date 46 or more
days in advance.
1.2. Full payment of the Total Quote is due 45 days before the event date.
1.3. Failure to make the full payment by the specified date may result in the
cancellation of the booking without any refund.

Cancellation by the Customer:
2.1. If you wish to cancel your booking, you must notify us in writing via email at
2.2. The following refund policy will apply based on the number of days prior to the
event date when the cancellation is made:
a) If you cancel more than 45 days in advance for any circumstances, 90% of the
Total Quote will be refunded.
b) If you cancel 45 days or less in advance for any circumstances, 75% of the Total
Quote will be refunded.
c) If you cancel 28 days or less in advance for any circumstances, 40% of the Total
Quote will be refunded.
d) If you cancel 10 days or less in advance for any circumstances, 20% of the Total
Quote will be refunded.
e) If you cancel 48 hours or less in advance for any circumstances, the Total Quote
is non-refundable.

Cancellation by Taverna Catering:
3.1. In the rare event that we need to cancel your booking, we will notify you as soon
as possible and offer a full refund of the Total Quote.
3.2. We will not be liable for any additional costs or damages incurred as a result of
our cancellation.

Refund Processing:
4.1. If you are entitled to a refund according to the cancellation policy stated above,
we will process the refund within 7 working days of being notified.
4.2. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the booking,
unless otherwise agreed upon.
4.3. Any bank or transaction fees associated with the refund will be deducted from
the refunded amount.

Payment:
5.1. Payment for our event catering services can be made via the following methods:
a) Bank transfer (BACS): Clients may choose to pay via bank transfer. No additional
fees will be charged for this payment method.
b) Credit card: Clients may choose to pay via credit card. An additional fee of 2.5%
of the Total Quote will be applied to cover processing charges.
5.2. All payments must be made in the currency specified in the Total Quote.
5.3. Any bank or transaction fees associated with the payment shall be borne by the
client.

Agreement and Additional Costs:
6.1. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all event details, including menus,
dietary requirements, venue specifications, and any other relevant information, are
agreed upon and communicated to Taverna Catering in advance.
6.2. Any changes or additions requested after the booking confirmation may incur
additional costs, which will be communicated to the client prior to implementation.
6.3. Failure to notify Taverna Catering of any changes or requirements in advance
may result in additional charges and may impact the feasibility of accommodating
such changes.

Insurance and Liability:
7.1. Taverna Catering is fully insured, and our staff members are trained
professionals in providing catering services.
7.2. While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and success of our
services, we shall not be held responsible for any liability, damage, loss, injury, or
accidents that occur during the event, unless directly caused by our negligence.
7.3. The client acknowledges that they are responsible for obtaining adequate event
insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances, damages, or losses that may
occur during the event.
7.4. Taverna Catering shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental
damages arising out of or in connection with our services.

Force Majeure:
8.1. Taverna Catering shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its
obligations under these terms and conditions due to circumstances beyond its
reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes,
labor disputes, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

Amendments:
9.1. Taverna Catering reserves the right to modify or amend these terms and
conditions at any time without prior notice.
9.2. Any changes to these terms and conditions will be effective immediately upon
posting on our website or notifying you via email.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
10.1. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance
with the laws of England and United Kingdom.
10.2. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and United
Kingdom.
